Back.
Security
I throw off my jacket, and tear off my belt.
I slip off my shoes, my watch, that bracelet.
I walk up towards you. There's tension, anxiety.
You scan my whole body. You see right through me.
For a moment, we're connected.
And then it's all over.
I turn back to see you, but you're onto the next one.
Already forgotten,
I pick up luggage
and head to my gate.
